Kev Cane
It sure does Joan, great sound and great memories, what more can you ask from this music!!! One of their best for me! Hope you are well. Hi Jock Hi Joan, correct me if I am wrong but was it our mate Ady Harley who was the guy responsible for airing this gem at Shotts. Kev I will take great pleasure in correcting you, and blowing my own trumpet, by saying it was me not Mr Harley that was responsible for blasting this out the tinny speakers that made Shotts unique!! I think Roger Banks used to bring a wheelbarrow load of them along as loads of people asked about it afterwards, never did get my commission Roger. Fantastic record that makes me almost well up with the memories, again what more can you ask! Link to comment Social source share
Len
beat ballads and mid tempo always been my two fave tempos to listen too Me too - And they are also choones to dance too! - I think Midtempo compliments other styles and visa versa. In other words different styles in a night makes the other sound that much better. Len. ***'SILKS' @ WELLINGBOROUGH MARCH 22ND*** Link to comment Social source share

Fantastic record that makes me almost well up with the memories, again what more can you ask!I stand corrected Jock, you,re right, Shotts was unique, it opitomised then, nearly 20 years ago what has become a topic for debate these days, a venue that encourages cheaper underplayed or unplayed gems to be brought to the fore to stand alongside the quality rare tunes aswell. Lowton springs to mind as having a similar mindset. Just ordered USB this morning so hopefully will be able to contribute to the great stuff that the guys, yourself included have been posting. Hope to see ya at the Wilton mate. Kev. Link to comment Social source share

Wrongcrowd
Jimmy Holiday - Man Without Love - KT 7" Now for smouldering moodiness and a fantastic double header with Sheild All Around on other side, both sides championed by Ion but this did it for me in the days when slow was good (and possible!!). Another killer selection Jock.....slow's still good for me mate, but know what you mean Link to comment Social source share

Wrongcrowd
NO...IT'S LONELY BOY 01___LEE_WILSON_LONELY_BOY.mp3 The vocals sound very different from t'other side. I reckon the other side is acutally a mis-pressed Jimmy Burns , since it's absolutely the same recoding as the Tip Top tune. Link to comment Social source share
