Guest Zane10 Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Hi Ollie, Thanks for the encouragement about the Margie Evans Waterfalls track on Buddah. Against records like the ones Brett played on Sunday, I'll have no chance when I make a return visit to Shaun's show.........so I'll need the encouragement! Anyway, it sounds like you might have downloaded the second link, the "inparts" link. It's basically the show cut into two parts so that people can burn it on to CDRs, otherwise the whole show would be too large. This comes up occasionally so a while back I made a small instruction document (on the Microsoft Word program) on the use of Megaupload and Winrar, whichis dead easy to follow. You can download it from this link https://www.yousendit.com/download/Y2ovS3d1cTJGOFJjR0E9PQ I hope this helps - if not, PM me. All the best, Zane

All the best, Zane Hi Zane mate, don't say that fella', you have impeccable taste, i know i've danced to your sets and heard you on the radio, you don't need encouragement........you have it it all with the record collection you have my dear friend. A top man with incredible taste, i'll be listening, and i assure you Zane my pen and paper will be out......and i know for a fact i'll hopefully try to find and acquire many of the things that you will play that i will have not heard. Dylan Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 i'm just getting the full show option now. what is the in parts version ? does this put markers so you can skip between tracks ? don't think 'll be able to get in parts in the next 24 hours if i've read the site right.
Guest Zane10 Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Hi Dylan, The "inparts" link is basically the show cut into two parts so that people can burn it on to CDRs, otherwise the whole show would be too large to burn. I added a post further up this page about how to access the "inparts" file with a small instruction document (on the Microsoft Word program) on the use of Megaupload and Winrar, which is dead easy to follow. You can download it from this link https://www.yousendit.com/download/Y2ovS3d1cTJGOFJjR0E9PQ I hope this helps - if not, PM me. Cheers, Zane

Guest Nick Harrison Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 (edited) Hi all, not like me to be the last to comment on Mr Robbins show.....but I did seriously appreciate the music....It was great to hear Windy City on Kelli Arts, a orange labelled 45 that is rarely heard today let alone back during it's release period. . And how good does the eighties indie Tony Fountaine sound again - played today. Just very lucky to hear, Lee Jones and the Sound of Soul - This Heart Is Haunted Amy 45, again, originally played a while back by Gareth Donovan on Shaun's show. Ivor Jones later informed listeners via SS that it is The Masqueraders recording under - The Sounds Of Soul. And not forgetting the powerfull and emotionally deep - Rose Brothers.....!!!! A big thanks again Guys. Regards Nick. Edited November 3, 2008 by Nick Harrison
