I particularly enjoyed the tracks from Power Of Attorney, The Fuzz, Walter Heath, Charles Drain, however the stand out tracks for me were Jerry Butler - What's So Good About It and Wee Gee - You've Been A Part Of Me, which has recently taken on a new poignancy for us, as we've found out this week that our dog has only a few days left to go...... Loved The Imperials, Leon McMullen, Teddy Pendergrass, Larry Saunders, Philly Cream, General Crook, Jim Spencers & Sunrise, Willie Lee/Tee, Heaven & Earth, Ethics, L. Sidney Davis, Jimmy Jones, and many more... Talking of Willie Tee and the New Orleans disaster. It saddens me that so many master tapes of soul, R&B and hip-hop recordings got lost/destroyed during the disaster. Talking of General Crook. I have the Wand LP that he cut in the mid-70´s (the track you played is not on there of course). Ralph Tee states that there are several other albums from that time. That surpasses my knowledge. What other full LPs did General Crook put out at around that time?! Zane is away, so I´ve recorded the show. A very enjoyable solar session - So here goes - head and shoulders above all IMHO has to go to one of the best "atmospheric" group sounds played on recent shows -Lee Jones And The Sounds of Soul - This House Is Haunted (Amy 11008 45) a total winner . Thanks. Also great to hear an old Mr A. Fenn spin - John Simeone - Who Do You Love (TNT), I'm sure many listeners out there have done some serious dance floor mileage to this tune over the years. Some other nice selected sounds played as well in between some more popular offerings, Prince Phillip Mitchell, Seville, Ernest Baker, Jesse James and Natural Four etc. Thank you and very much appreciated as always. .
