Guest Zane10
Well folks, we finally made it home after a wild weekend in London...... Firstly, thanks to Shaun for giving me the opportunity to play some of my favourite records on what must be one of the best radio shows - it was a real pleasure Shaun! Thanks also to all of you for your kind comments - I have been overwhelmed by the response and the calls to the studio. I'm pleased that so many liked the selections - as I said so many times to those who phoned in, I just brought a bunch of records we like and, in fact, probably could have gone on for another 3 hours! Guest Darks
Every week it's an awesome play list and this week is double boss! I was digging a trench this morning, like you do, and nearly fell in it when I heard Silver, Platinum and Gold. I love this record and have never heard it anywhere out, fantastico. Also had to have a good think about the Jack Sass band, have'nt heard that since the mid 80s a real memory jerker and sounding so good. Great stuff Ivor and another load of "wants" thanks mate. Also Shaun, a big thank you for posting up the playlist every week. It is appreciated as I have the usual weekly power struggle with my four year old screamer for control of the telly and don't always win. PS-Soul
Shaun, I have never posted comments about your show before but my other half has been pestering me all afternoon to post a comment about todays show , it was so good we have listened to it twice. We have listened to and recorded your show now for the last 18 months and have always enjoyed the quality both from yourself and your excellent guests. Todays show with Ivor Jones was exceptionally good with lots of stuff we have never heard before plus a few of our faves. Just one downside, due to dancing around the living room to Ace Spectrum and Aristocrats she burnt the Yorkshire Puddings, never mind small price to pay. Keep up the good work , looking forward to Steve Plumbs contribution , always does the business whenever we have seen him (superb at Yarmouth). A big thank you as well to Zane for the downloads each week , brilliant !!!!!!!! cheers mate. Paul & Sue , Doncaster Link to comment Social source share
