I have never seen a boot/pressing of it. Don’t think it has been done.

I have often wondered who Tojo is?

Tec is a Washington DC label, that’s as far as I know!

Keep your eyes on the forthcoming articles section, and do try and get some sleep in the interm

Smashing tune !, got it on a old goldmine comp , so come on reveal it for the mass , and get a leg on .✌🎶🎶

Bet Roscoe Bowie Jr & his boys were the backing band ... the song's writer (John Franklin King) has 10 songs registered with BMI but strangely this ain't one of them (but the songs on both sides of JJ & G's TEC 45 are on there) .... PLUS OF COURSE Freddie Perren worked on the session.

Great sound from late casino era originally played as Ann Perry  have you ever been in love

Dave it wouldn't have a shrine connection by any chance :O???

Let's hear it then!

Here's a scan of my copy that I bought from Max in about 1977/78 with the card sleeve with his writing on. It was in one of those box's that we had all picked over time and time again and had been left behind after he'd sold the bulk of his stuff.

He'd played it at the Cat's !

It still has a little tape residue around the run-out from where the label was covered up.

Ah when I said play it this weekend i meant in my record room 😀 👍

Social media is a good reason to NOT play it out, I'll choose what I play & I don't play follow the leader 😉 Mind you only played out once in last two years so not too much of a problem there 😃😃😃

Are we any nearer finding out who the artist is or is it a secret that will be taken to the grave.

Played mine out last month sounded brill

The cat should be out of the bag by the weekend/early nextweek

Dave

I've always thought it sounded a bit like Carl Carlton when he sang "Competition....". Not saying it is him, but possibly  a young singer.
