THE GROUP CALLED "US": Promise Me (Patty) EX+ £25 Blue-eyed moody mid-tempo. THE DYNAMICS: Old Shoes And Rice (SAA-CE) VG+ £100 This has a very, very tiny 1mm chip on the edge, nowhere near the playing surface. Not even worth mentioning....just that I'm honest. Also a small scratch which can be heard for about 8 revs after the second verse. JEFF LANE: You Put A Hurt On Me (United International) EX £40 Good early-sounding dancer, seen selling for £75 RONNIE HAWKINS: Southern Love (Whatcha Gonna Do) (UK Columbia) MINT- £30 Blue-eyed R&B which has been creating a stir amongst R&B lovers over the past couple of years. ON HOLD FRED HUGHES: Oo Wee Baby, I Love You (NEW ZEALAND Fontana) MINT- SWOL £20 New Zealand issue - date of 7/65 written on A-side label near Fontana logo MAXINE BROWN: Am I Falling In Love (UK HMV) EX £60 Very rare UK turquoise label issue. Small mark on bottom of label. JIMMY JAMES & VAGABONDS: This Heart Of Mine (UK Piccadilly) VG+ £20 Few light marks not affecting play. Writing on B-side label SOLD MARGO & THE MARVETTES: When Love Slips Away (UK Pye) MINT- £35 Because of a pressing fault, there is a light crackle in the silent run-in and run-out, which doesn't affect the listening of the record itself, and is really nothing to worry about.
