Headsy Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I've had Anette Poindexter in my sales box for at least 6 months for £30 and still not sold, .......
Jaco Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 A number of Bonnie Briskers have been sold via e-bay over the last couple of years - variable quality, highest value achieved was $130 (£70) with the lowest at $41(£20) for a g-. £150 might be optimistic.
Sebastian Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 ...as always with Manship "book values", divide by 2 or even 3 and you won't get disappointed when selling.
Jaco Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Don't think I've EVER seen a w/d of this sell for more than £125 in the real world. Amazing. One went for $461 (£240) in 2005, again on e-bay
Sebastian Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 One went for $461 (£240) in 2005, again on e-bay There you go! A bit over the top if going by what most copies sell for though...
Guest Jamie Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I got a copy of the Notations off GEMM for $8 last year. I'd have a look on there, if not ebay should come up with one. 'A New Day' on the same label is a decent track. Why it's 2 or 3 times the price tag I'll never know. Wouldn't pay £50 for one, £30 tops I'd say. And unless I've missed something, the James Bell & Highlighters should be more than £15 - maybe add a nought? Jamie
Guest Baz Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 The Constellations - I Didn't know How To/ Popa Daddy - Gemini 30005 W/D M- £250 F**kin mental! No wonder he bought mine off me for around £60

Chalky Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 One went for $461 (£240) in 2005, again on e-bay I've seen it sold for aroun £150 in recent times, a few times as well.
Chalky Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Think Kirsty said it was a boot. Don't think James Bell are boots, re-issues that James Bell himself pressed I think?
Jaco Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Chalky, I think that must be correct as the £15 value is from JM and he obviously doesn't put in boots with values in his guide.
Guest Netspeaky Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Don't think James Bell are boots, re-issues that James Bell himself pressed I think? James Bell defo NOT A BOOT, James had them done himself, he sold me a quantity at Prestatyn a couple of years back. He had 300 pressed up, he intended giving around a 100 copies to family and friends at his Birthday do back in the states, and he was selling the others 200 in Prestatyn. I have copies with the sleeve signed by James if anyone is interested, they are £25 each.
Codfromderby Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 a few weeks ago i sold a copy of the emotions on vardan, through e-bay for £55, and it went to the states
