Chris L Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 What's the going rate for one of these nowadays ? Is the double-sided dem worth any or less than the issue ?
Winsford Soul Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Chris . I would have said about £30 for the US Cassablanca not sure about the what I would say rarer British one. Don't know about the Demo. ( I'm probably miles out with the silly prices that everything seems to be fetching these days ) Steve
Geeselad Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Forgot how good this sounds heard shearling play it the other week on his show

Soulman58 Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Couldn't agree more, always one of my favourite new releases played on the scene.
Soulie52 Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 I just got my mint demo from Discogs in the U.S for only $2.00, bargain for a good tune. 1
Chalky Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 £15 tops for a minter set sale, of course there are cheaper ones out there for less.

Chris Turnbull Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 I remember Colin Curtis playing it at a Ritz revival alldayer mid 90's when IL was on as well, so assumed it was one of his old spins?

Winsford Soul Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 Just going through my records and guess what. Mine got a bloody crack from edge to centre. Taped it on other side but got slight noise now. So I will be getting a new one, still plenty out there for £10 upwards. Still a fantastic record Ste

What I also remember is that there was a record show on Sunday morning and I must have heard that ------------------------------ bought Gwen's Johnny Hampton "Not My Girl" for $5 or $10 at least 15 times. So Gwen did bring at least one good 45 with her.
Tomangoes Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 They? must have got there early:) and not looked her in the eye! Ed
