Northern Soul Uk Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Does anyone know if, apart from the box set, Thelma Houston - I ain't going nowhere, ever came out on a 7" single? I played it at a gig the other day and 2 DJs said that they had it on Mowest on a single? I have searched high and low but can't find any reference to it ever being released. Any help please? Thank you

Vadnochka Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Never an original 7" back in the day - But and it's a big but, do the Northern soul fraternity really think that this brilliant track was not immediately picked up and played upon it's release on the LP, along with Jnr. Walker's. Folks - the list of stuff attributed to 'The Torch', 'Casino', 'Cats', or 'Mecca' which in fact were regular spins in the 'provinces' before being sold or traded to the previously named clubs - usually because they were 'played out' locally is almost endless.
