Jay Lyle/Art Wheeler

Not sure if this as been asked before, but was looking through records for Jay Lyle on Angel City (How Good Can It Get), and realised that it has the same credits, etc, as Art Wheeler on Cee Jam (That's How Much I Love You).

And on listening to both, to my tone deaf ears, they sound very similar.

Could it be that they are both one and the same person?

Any thoughts/opinions

I am way out of date here, I don't even know if this is any help but I got an Art Wheeler 45 that has 'blue eyed soul' written on the sleeve.
