On my white demo it's 

M-51495-1B  all scratched in to the deadwax.

That is the US Demo I have the Vinyl issue same marking but with SSS etched in to

You Just beat me to it just found mine 

So by this matrix  stamp Warner Brothers flipped it to the A side in the UK & hint is BIG A  on label

well it wasn't 'flipped' as such...it was not a contemporaneous release with the US, it was released six or so  years later because of the Northern Soul scene demand.  Although it was the first time released in the UK it is no different than say Pye Disco Demands, Right on or Route releases......

I want to check it against mine, I have what looks like a UK test press with a red WB logo with the deadwax details the same as above.

Just curious as to what I had.
