Neal. Yes Neal, There are original demo's in vinyl. All the standard issues I've seen have all been styrene. I seem to remember this coming up before on the site, so perhaps try to check past topics. Cheers KB

Bruv Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 I don't think some these auctions would get of the ground with certain records if it wasn't for the pulling power of Facebook, with some of the buyers on fb not having a clue about what is the going rate for the top sounds.
Zoomsoulblue Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Real one - or bloody hope so, paid a massive £10 back in 79 - at the time I was earning £60 a week on the railway. Brought it off a guy called Kippross from Huntingdon at the time ( now moved to Nottingham) he's still selling records saw him at Coalville nighter last year - Great old soul pal 1
Guest Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 (edited) In the 1970’s the white label vinyl demo was the one on all the sales lists. At that time the issue was very rare! Since the late 1990’s there have been lots of original styrene black issues for sale. There now seems to be more black issues about than demos, Someone must have found a box full of them? Ady Croasdell Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 What I want to know is does a Dimples Harris demo exist? Kent Harris' sister in action.
