The only way to get Betty Wright's take on the J.J. Barnes classic on 45 is to find the super rare italian only picture sleeve 45. This copy looks a bit abused due to numerous archive stickers on the label and sleeve, but plays like a champ and that's what it's all about!

What a surprise to find Otis Redding's first 45 on a german issue with a picture sleeve. This was recorded in Otis' hometown in Macon Georgia and came out in the USA on Trans World records. Recorded before he teamed up with the Stax crew and big Otis was nothing but a local talent and he tried hard to sound like Little Richard, who was his greatest inspiration, he once mentioned in an interview. Anyway, two great early soul sides and a record of real significance when it comes to the history of the music we love.
