Tlscapital Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Test press of such records should be of the same value or a tad less than the better looking labeled copies. Test presses can be worth more if they bare an alternate take or mix. Test presses fetching much higher price tags are the ones for the "fans" kinda bands and singers of which the collectors seek the rare, odd and mispressings with the likes of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson...
The Yank Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 The group was originally known as Five Pound Grin and are believed to be from San Diego, Ca. Group members were David Doran, Malcolm McCassy, Mike Lawson, Willie Kellog, Bruce Morse and Bob Yerian.
George G Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 (edited) These appear to be the same as the standard versions that came out on real labels. They aren't soul records, they are psych/rock from c. 1969. I think they range from $50 to $100+ for the labelled copies, these would probably go for less. Edited February 2, 2018 by George G
