Amsterdam Russ Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 How do you tell the difference between an original of Bill Brandon/Lorraine Johnson - Full time groover - and the reissue/boot? I've read that the label on the orig has sharper text than the boot and is on slightly glossy paper, but having looked at label scans online, and without having both side-by-side, I'm struggling to identify which is actually which. Any other distinguishing marks that tells them apart?
Darkes Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 I think I've got a real one and boot at home, if no one responds will check when I get home. Regards Alan
Mick Holdsworth Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Seem to remember the boot had a matt finish, wheras the orig was a more glossy finish - Haven't had a real one since about 75, lent it to a local "friend", but never got it back
Pete S Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 East to tell, the silver on the boot is very dull and the sound quality isn't as good as the orig 1
Amsterdam Russ Posted January 15, 2018 Author Posted January 15, 2018 (edited) Sounds like it's a boot. Scans here... Edited January 15, 2018 by Russell Gilbert
