The story goes that in the 60's and early 70's lots of deleted records from The States travelled over to the UK and Europe as ballast for the large ships. On arrival the ballast was no longer needed and was consequently dumped in warehouses.
So the story goes, but does anyone knows if there's any documented proof of this?
