MOJO, Hull 16th December - Double Decking Xmas Bash
Many thanks to Martyn for the invite and to double deck with Mark Thomas, who in my opinion is the No.1 DJ in the country.
We played a 2 record sequence with a view of keeping it Mod orientated and to move through as many genres as we could and always complementing each other with our choices. Mark started off with Latin and I finished it all of with funky- soul, sorry I can’t show you Mark’s set but maybe you can fill in the spaces as to how we got from the start to the end

Mark Thomas (sorry I cant show you his selection)

Monguito Santamaria – Hey Sister – Fania
Billy Hawks – Oh Baby – Stateside

Mark Thomas (sorry I cant show you his selection)

Skip Robinson – I Just Can’t Wait – Chris
Zu Zu Blues Band – Zu Zu Man – A&M

Mark Thomas (sorry I cant show you his selection)

Johnny Guitar Watson – Big Bad Wolf – Magnum
Fred Hughes – I Keep Tryin – Exodus

Mark Thomas (sorry I cant show you his selection)

Vernon Harrell – Slick Chick – Lescay
Groundhogs & JLH – Don’t Be messing Around With My Bread – Planet

Mark Thomas (sorry I cant show you his selection)

Oscar Hamod & The Majestics – Soulfinger – USA
Ronnie Putrika – Don’t Shake Me Down – Patlow

Mark Thomas (sorry I cant show you his selection)

Gerri Hall – Who can I Run To – Hot Line
Little Eddie Taylor – I Had A Good Time – Peacock

Mark Thomas (sorry I cant show you his selection)

Wendel Western – Nag On Me – Soul Sauce
Don Hart – Out Uh Sight – Mary Jane

Many thanks
