Being close to New Year and all that...i was listening to a recording i have of Kev (Gold Soul on here) and Richard from NYE 2011, Smooth radio show-Ain’t Nothing But A House Party All-Nighter.

AND to my surprise - Doh :wink: i’d never realised before that  Dana Valery – ‘You Don't Know Where Your Interest Lies’ was written by Paul Simon.

Started to wonder about other Most unlikely’s?

But maybe it’s be done before, if so ugh, sorry.

In much the same vein - I believe it even has "You're so young" on the other side.

No, it has 'I Keep It Hid' on the flip....which is a Shane Martin recorded track too.

Sorry I think this picture sleeve distracted me;

A testimony to his song writing I guess. Just about anyone who is anyone has recorded it.

"Oh Lord, Why Lord" was writed by the vocalist of sapnish pop-soul group Los Pop Tops, Phil Trim using the basis of the "Canon" by Johann Pachelbel. They recorded it in Spain in 1967 and a year later, 1968, Atlantic published a cover by Brook Benton.
