Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 ..."I've Been Trying" - two more that immediately spring to mind are the Four Gents on HBR (and probably a little Detroit label before that) and the Heptones on Jamaican Gay Feet - which, although reggae, has as much soul in the vocals as any version I've heard. I must have loads of other versions as I tend to buy them automatically as I see them, if they're cheapish. But these are the only two others that I can think of, off the top of my head, that haven't been covered by Platters81. If I come up with any more, I'll be back. TONE PS and BTW that Nu-Sounds Express version is a killer!
