Bo Diddley Posted December 6, 2017 Author Posted December 6, 2017 (edited) Aquamen Line And Track / Tomorrow Is A Long Time Hiback: 109 (45s) Strap yourself in, as no other record at this moment in time detonates a Northern Soul dancefloor quite like this Californian-Juggernaut does.. Utterly explosive! Not since John Vincent introduced Willie Mitchell's "The Champion" to the British Soul scene has such a grandiose stomper invaded the Northern Soul space. The rattling drum intro signals an uncompromising hardcore approach, adorned with cutting edge blue-eyed group-vocals. Who battle it out for a part in this cacophony of teamwork. Some deliver seamless harmony, one guy serves up snarling instructions, as the other part of the gathering get their point over with relentless chants of "Line And Track!" creating a cauldron of irresistible dance, enhanced by heavy bass rhythms and wicked drumming.. Invasive, conspicuous, unforgiving Northern Soul at it's most commanding.. Proper, real--deal Northern Soul stomper packing the dancefloors countrywide, underlining the diversity of the incomparable scene... except of coarse if you grew up in Pittsburgh.. Condition Report Flawless condition, two clean labels, with play surfaces that reveal only minuscule surface blemishes. Plays perfect! Mint minus throughout £1,216.00 Sorry, this auction has ended. 06/12/2017 18:12 Listen Add to Watch List Helen Shapiro Stop And You Will Become Aware / She Needs Company Columbia : DB 8256 (45s) Shy girl's greatest offering to Northern Soul, ranking as one of the greatest homegrown recordings ever to grace the NS Scene.
