Bruv Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Never get tired of hearing this Classic played out as the last sound - Dean Parrish - I'm On My Way 1
Guest Shufflin Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 I've long thought that Dionne Warwick's "who is gonna love me" would make a good ender, it's a bit sad maybe and not rare but the lyrics certainly fit, always loved it Who is gonna love me, ? Not you, You will be gone. And here I'll stay, all alone and I'll just waste away, Wondering who is gonna hold me And keep me warm when I'm cold. Who will I wake up for Through all those lonely years? No one to wake up for but Sleep won't come to end these tears. And who is gonna kiss me if you Walk out the door? There'll be no one new: not for me 'Cause my whole life, is you. Darling, if you don't want to love me There's just no use hanging on For without your love Everything is wrong.
Guest Steve C Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Guess it depends on the mood you are trying to create. Personally, I always thought signing off a little downbeat with a bit of pathos might match well with Ruby Andrews - Casanova Although no one ever played out with it that I can remember.
Davebanks Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 heard this used as as a last record many times. Dave Banks 1

Liam2005 Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Capitol Soul Club always ended with Jimmy Ricks - Oh what a feeling- Festival. TUNE!!!! 1
Kathryn Magson Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Moody Blues - Go Now - tune that ended the Twisted Wheel all-nighters for a while in the 1960s. Always made me want to cry - just sounds so bloody sad!
Tattoodave Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Eddie Kool would be nice, once in a while... 1

Davebanks Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 You did indeed sell me a copy of Eydie Gorme!!! What a memory you have. That copy now resides in a box in Mr Manships warehouse. All the best mate, glad to hear you are still into northern and stuff. Did you find many unusual sounds when you were travelling the world with RN? Dave Banks
