Pat Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I have a copy of Connie b/w Sweet Magic on Chartmaker C-408. I know it's a boot but apparently not one you see all that often, Anyone have any idea of the value? Alan C.
Reforee Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Currently....who knows, the price of originals seems to change daily and following this is the demand for original reissues/boots/etc. Shoot me if I'm wrong, and I probably am, but this is just an opinion and the way the current trend seems to have gone on other similar records, but I would suggest a current value, based on demand and price of the original of between £50 and £100 just an opinion......not gospel! Frankie Crocker Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 The Servicemen’s original is now fetching over £1,000 and pushing £1,500 in perfect condition. The Magicians bootleg which is on vinyl and looks pretty smart has sold for over £100 recently. On eBay, the latter could fetch more or less due to the fickle regard for bootlegs but this format will be the only way most likers of the tracks will get to own them. One of the very, very best double-siders of all time. 2
