Plenty of deep soul flips here for those who like that kind of thing.  Some real crackers like the joe beck and trisha brown that are both rare and great.

Joe King "Speak on up" Prix Ex 40 

so this is pretty well known as a 70s northern spin but there is plenty of life in the fantastic lowrider flip that is not as acknowledged as it will be one day......

 

Jules and dynamics "I'm a love man / I've been a long way from home" free as a breeze g 50 

Filler copy for the collection.  Storming uptempo side plays pretty well and would be OK to dj with the deep flip is a bad shape lots of pops and clicks but does play through.  This is jules johnson who recorced on polydor.  RARE. 

 

Chuck carter "a tear drop fell / I've done you wrong" bedford ex 50 

Classic deep soul also a very rare version by little ronnie mudd backed with strong uptempo funky soul.  Superb soul.

 

Freeman brothers "you got me on a string" international allied ex 150 

Classic deep soul quite rare.

 

Trisha brown "I am nothing without you / you're gonna pay" soulsville vg 125 

Classic and rare deep soul backed with good uptempo soul side, couple of pops and clicks on deep side but still plays through and is listenable no constant hiss or background. 

 

Marilyn barbarian "you still love me / since I fell for you" olympia ex 30 

2 x great mid to slow modern soul sides from a great artists quite obscure 

 

The web "the same old me" ces ex 25 SOLD

Great deep soul ballad from Belize very recommended.  Check it out on youtube if you don't know it. 

 

Mr Percolator "I need your love to see me through / burning up for your love" ex 50 

Brilliant deep soul and strong uptempo funky soul flip.  Far from his rarest but still worth having. 

 

Conservatives "that’s all / crunchin song" ebonic sound ex 20 

There other on label had a few spins this is similar sounding with a great sweet soul flip 

 

Chicago pete "do you renmember" mojack ex 40 

Nice mid tempo modern seems pretty obscure ? 

 

Joe beck "do you really love me / don’t pass me by" charles ex 125 

He did 4 on this label 3 are easy to find and all have 5XX numbers this is cat no 160 and seems much rarer.  Classic deep soul also done by big maybelle and a strong R&B style northern flip 

 

Big maybelle "let me go / no better for you" port ex but water stain on label 15% 25 

Great beat ballad great voice 

 

Reactions "live my life for myself" sanfris ex 200 

The drill hole has broken through to the centre hole but all is intact and a small piece of tape just to protect it.  This has had occasional plays on scene but not many.

Brilliant deep soul highly recommended

Quite obscure 70s 2 good sides from outstanding artist who made so many great records

Rare and early deep soul with a powerful vocal

Great deep soul with R&B flip 

 

Dynamite singketary "I aint gonna take no for an answer / got to get enough" nationwide ex 20 

2 nice 70s soul sides with a funky edge
