Buster & Eddie – Can’t be still – Class 1518 WLP M- £750

In December 2013 John Manship's auction notes remarked that way back in 1974, apart from 2 or 3 demos, it was widely thought this 45 never reached commercial issue, that was until Messer's Raistrick and Fenn turned up a 100-count box at the ALCO pressing plant. Those 100 pink label issues were primed ready to go but clearly never left the plant gate. 

Issues are hard enough, residing in begrudging collector’s boxes, reaching market only on blue moons, the Demos REMAIN infinitely rarer, whilst mint minus copies orbit behind Halleys Comet! This thumping dancer bounces straight into life with deep horns and frenetic girly backing, pierced abruptly by the punchy vocals of Buster (Tommy) and Eddie Williams, this is head nodding finger snapping toe tapping catchiness epitomized.
