Posted November 17, 200618 yr I heard this track in the main room at the Blackpool weekender and really liked it, is it a new track or a re-working of an old track by Ian Levine, it def has a 70's feel to it? Ste.
November 17, 200618 yr It was a tailor made by Levine in 1999? ( I might be out by a year or two). Interstingly, I was talking to Sidney about this 45 about 2 years ago and he told me that Ian suggested they put it out as a 60s previously unissued release ( now, where have I heard that before?)Anyway Sid refused so it was issued at the same time as the Frank Wilson,Herman griffin etc 45s ( I think there were 7 in total). Got my copy signed by Sidney at the time. Just been repressed by someone in the Stoke area I believe and is readily available at around a tenner (I understand that it's in lighter vinyl than the original) Julian

November 17, 200618 yr Yes, a bit like the Four Vandals 45. Fortunately some people are more honest than others. Julian
