Good morning folks. I'm trying to locate a track that I heard on a podcast a few years back. It's a mid tempo late 60's early 70's tune  called "Blackbird" and has the line "have you ever heard a Blackbird sing" or similar.

Thanks Woodbutcher but It's Neither of those and it's not a cover of the Beatles track. I do remember that it was a male group like the Dramatics or dynamics?

I reckon it's blackbird by the Manhattans lp track from the same  album as the excellent don't want to pay the price

been listening to lots of stuff like this lately - black rights, Gil Scott Heron, Sam Dees, Bobby etc. I'm having another living room session tonight and will add this to the play list. It'll sound great full blast out of my amp.

Nice one Pete. Been playing Sam Dees a lot lately myself. Some of the ballads on "The show must go on" are incredible
