NorthernMoorSoul Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I have the clap I love clapping, its a way of expressing your feeling for a tune, I cant help my self, I even clap at home by my self, more power to the clap I say, and when a DJ, gets unanimous round of clapping it dont half help them feel bloody good!years ago, every single person clapped, not so much these days, perhaps people think they look daft, personally I always look daft, and have been known to be the only person in a room clapping I personally can't help it,"force of habit","in the moment"-whatever,and I love the look on peoples faces when I'm in the car waiting at the lights tunes playing and you hit your loudest clap-priceless!

Guest Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 personally I always look daft, and have been known to be the only person in a room clapping me too!
Stevie T Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 have had the Clap-er lot oop,s sorry different thread.. ..... Love to clap ,Think most of us could,nt stop even if we wanted to..its a big part of it do find some time,s While driving, wanting to clap while listening to a 8 track...DONT!!!..its not clever. last 3 records at wigan.......all the way through, was the best clap ever....
Peter99 Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 I've not read all the posts on here but................... I've always clapped. Clapped to a record - sometimes in the wrong place , clapped at the end of a record to demonstrate my appreciation for a good tune, and clapped DJ's after delivering a decent set. I'll always fooking clap if I want to - I don't care what anybody else thinks! Those that are against clapping have obviously had a little problem down their pants at some point and have been left scarred!
Tomangoes Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Cant imagine Gwen Owens - Wanted and needed, being the same record on a dancefloor without the dancers clapping, same goes for Manifesto and a shed load more. One of the first big records for me was strings a - oops - double cookin, clap clap and more clap. Just dont clap where you should'nt or you will be singled out and slow clapped off the floor. Ed
