Lionelonthevinyl Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Would like to know more about Dean Anderson...where his journey started etc...I've heard him play at pure soul in Nuneaton and know he is friends with Gilly, Nicola (gillys other half), Rob Grey etc...seemed a great bloke and played a fab set...I find it really interesting reading about these folk..maybe a thread that would embarrass him I'm sure..thank you..Rob

I can't remember what it was called.

Dave was the first ever DJ I heard play when I was really young - him being from Skegness and me being (at the time) from Mablethorpe. First time I ever went to Wigan was with Dave in his car. It got a little personal but probably not meant then Len closed it, probably right. They were fab reading as I love the stories. What a fantastic legacy Richard has given us. 1979 was when I really started - although Wigan 1981 and Clifton Hall, and Cleethorpes Winter Gardens under Steve Crofts stewardship were my best years. Yate was tainted due to the massive coach drive back - sick as a dog and bouts of paranoid schizophrenia. Pete 1
