Soul-slider
CHEERS Well, the Bobby Bland just went on ebay for £36. The Barbara Mason must be around the £40 mark too. Not sure of the rest as they are more RnB orientated. John Link to comment Social source share

Guest TONY ROUNCE
the Billy Ward & Dominoes if that's on 1955 release federal 295-94 it books at $13,000 (no joke), if it's the 1958 reissue on federal 548 it's in the book for $1,500 ...Of course, it should be stressed, before you start booking a holiday on the strength of selling it, that those prices are for copies that are stone mint or, preferably, better. Doo-Wop collectors are considerably more fussy about their gradings than are soul collectors - you wouldn't get anywhere near those prices for an item with a worn cover or any kind of markings on the label or vinyl. The other thing that's worth mentioning about doo-wop collecting and selling is that a lot of records never reach their quoted book price anymore - mostly due to the fact that the doo wop market is gradually diminishing, as the older collectors are reaching an age where they are beginning, quite literally, to die out, and they are not being replaced by a new generation of collectors. The same is also beginning to happen with rare rock 'n' roll items, I'm afraid, and it will eventually happen with soul, funk, reggae and everything else... ...now there's a nice cheerful start to the week for you!
