Guest nubes Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 well,I did say to stop playing safe and hit with some really gritty and hard funky toons, that's is what you have all delivered, right on soul brothers and sisters!! i can feel a soul train line dance coming on step to the left, step to the right and boogie downwith your bad selfs   Delx
Djr Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 some quality tunes posted up. nice to see that Barbara Acklin tune here, I think it's brilliant. I also recommend Joe Quarterman's 'The Way They Do My Life' on GSF. Great tough funker with some lovely strings to make it somewhat moody (for lack of a better word). Didn't know that Lionel Hampton, gonna have to keep an eye out for it.
Missgoldie Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Sorry I cant post it up but have to recommened this one as a perfect funk/soul blend!!! Curtis Liggin's Indications - What it is
