(Barry White influenced dancer, classy vocals, girly backing, thumping sax break, this is a top quality 45 that will fill the floor, plays like a dream, just very light ring wear and sticker residue)

 

 

Kool Blues – (I’m gonna) keep on loving you – Capsoul 25 Ex+ £150 SOLD

(Resides in the shadow of their biggie “Can we try love again” but this smashing crossover dancer carried along on catchy backing and great vocal regardless of whose lead)

 

Volcanos – Take me back – Harthon 146 M- £250 SOLD

(Very hard to pin down number from this quality label.  Stunning off the radar Philly dancer and so much better than their messy “It’s gotta be a false alarm”.  Last decent copy for sale through Nev in 2015, clearly doesn’t show up often)

 

Jackie Lee – Oh my darlin’ – Mirwood 5527 WD M- £75 SOLD

(What a catalogue on the Mirwood label, this as much as any screams “dance to me”, great white demo copy, has a file copy stamp on flip)
