Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 ...Me again. Something else that I'm working on for imminent release on Kent is a Brooks O'Dell career-spanning CD anthology. I've heard, or have access to, every single recording Brooks released, and quite a few unissued's too - but I've never heard either side of his 1962 debut 45 on London 10711. I admit that the titles "For You Alone Lucia" and "Mai Mai Mai" do not fill me with inspired expectation, but I'd hate to finalise the compilation and find that I've missed out on one of the best Big City Soul records of its era. Does anyone on here have a copy and, if so, would they be able to post up a soundclip of both sides? Doesn't have to be the full songs, a minute or so of each would be enough for me to gauge their worth to this project. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! TONE
