I note that some records that are up for sale are occasionally advertised as "cracked" or in pretty poor condition. I appreciate that they are always sold at a reduced price (i would have thought that they were worthless myself) but do folks really buy them and if so do they actually play them thus risking permanent damage to the stylus ?? And following on from this do DJs when sharing decks use similar condition discs thus risking the same sort of damage to a stylus, then other DJs follow on and run the risk of their expensive records being damaged because of this practice??
