there's some thought that manships latest edition has shot its bolt, by using auction prices as a reference

and is now only usefull for

midwest american record dealers working out ebay starting prices or diy therapy for depressed soul collectors

Well don' t know myself, had a quick look last night, checked a few values , all seemed ok and reliable

but would need longer look and to compare it to jm latest before can give a fair view.

Could anyone who has had time and a copy , pass on views, sure be appreciated by many

and also price if possible

I've orderered it too Mark. But I'm always wary about price guides published by people who sell records. (The 'Oven Chips Syndrome). Gotta be worth a look though.

Have seen the book and having flicked through it quickly have made 2 observations:

1) Pricing seems OK

2) It is not the most complete listing of Rare Soul as there are some notable 45's left out.
