Just Found 3 more copies, when there gone, that's it !!!!!!!!!!!
Razz-Ma-Tazz - On the disco floor - Radar £20 +P&P
So they have arrived and ready to go, just hit me up !!!!
Here is the story behind the release ...........Latest project with Cannonball Records Group. Unissued 70's funky mover from Butch Williams one time member of The Heartbreakers and man behind the stunning modern soul 45 'Keep on loving me'. When the Heartbreakers disbanded he worked with several group around Louisville including, Enterprise & Raz-Ma-Tazz neither released any records, but recordings were made. So a few years ago the search started to find a 1/4 tape that was thought to still survive.
Butch had loaned it to some young guys in Lexington who said they would do something with it, this never transpired and when he spoke to them they said they had sent it back. He searched high and low, all he had left was a badly recorded cassette, which was enough for me to be hooked, but not to use.
After a year of searching the search was called off and the tape was assumed lost. Then a year ago he rang me to say 'You won't believe this but I was cleaning out my Jeep when I found it wedged under one of the seats'. So tape was duly dispatched to me and I in turn sent it down to Alberto Folpower Zanini, after much work to editing a 6 min track to a 45 version and balancing stereo and mono parts of the tape the job was finished. The results are fantastic, a midtempo oh so soulful winner, with a little bit of a funky edge, that the title belies.
