Discovered  Daryl's House whilst looking for a non Northern act - Cheap trick a few months ago.

Didnt know what to expect with the O'Jays but they were tremendous 

What I love about Daryl and his band is that they are so versatile whatever the gendre

They've got their usual summer tour in the US posted on their website. Think I might have to grab some tickets. :)

I guess you may already know this, but Daryl ( and John Oates) have history with most of the musicians coming out of Philly, and the respective studio's of Sigma, Virtue, etc.

They both played on Electric Indian 'Keem-O-Sabe' 1968, Marmaduke ( as well as others sides) with what most folks regard as " The Philiadelphia Funk Brothers"

WOW! Mike that's a brilliant read, thank you for that. Really interesting if you didn't know, you would write Daryl Hall off as just another pop star, but he has so much history in the soul music genre. Thanks again - Steve
