Mate of mine brought this into the pub the other night.

He's in his mid 50's and bought this in 1968.

Cassette album......... The Temptations Greatest Hits.

Black case with a purple design sticker on the front with electric blue and some white writing. Has a design of Gordy in the righthand corner.

(just realised. These last 3 form a sentence a young girl might say to the young fella who's got her pregnant! ).

Girl (why you wanna make me blue). That might be his reply!!! Right order honest.

Mate said it had been in a draw for donkey's years.

On went the tape and it was crystal clear.

Nothing special this last point considering the vinal you all have being 40+ years old etc.but impessed me none the less.

Anyone else remember buying this cassette?

My local is getting more and more soulful as we speak!!

I'll have a soul night in there if it's the last thing I do!!!!!!!!!
