The 1st time l found out about the other credits, was in Lee's Records in Miami in 79.

I was shocked to say the least, when the guy showed me them.

Black Ship to Hell by Johnnie Adams was another of Ian's cover ups at the Mecca, Breakaway instrumental.

The unreleased vocal to Midnight Brew turned up a few years back.  It was Can't Turn You Loose or some similar old Stax tune.

Black Ship to Hell - Johnny Adams Band.

Dave Godin record brought to the HR by his friend Alf Billingham  - Dave came  up with the title as it was a book he was reading.

Played by Colin.

No Larry Atkins  had been around a couple of years by this time and not covered up..

Another one from Ians adds was Thump Time, the Righteous Brothers Band. Anyone know what that was? Always wondered.

" Give me lots of lovin " would be Willie Kendrick ,as Freddie Butler wasn't discovered until much later .

Wasn't there a carver of Freddie Butler played at wigan as Ed Wingate before it's later release on pied piper? From the Dab Of Soul LP

Kev Draper has one of those vocals.

Thats the one I meant lol

I do recall hearing 'Coming Home Baby' by the Barron Knights a few times over the years - I wouldn't be surprised if someone didn't try it on as a cover up.

Wouldn`t the Johnnie Adams - Black Ship to Hell (Breakaway Theme -Steve Karmen) have been played off the  33rpm  Pontiac TV commercial promotional disk or was it found on the UA issue first?
