Twoshoes Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 I've searched You tube for stuff for the last few years but never come across these programmes before, no doubt they are nothing new to some on here but like me they may have passed others by,there's a mix of artists on them, this one has Esther Phillips and Little Milton https://youtu.be/itpp53XYJOE 1
Pete S Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Originally available as average quality videotapes in 1996 (I paid £100 for them then!), they were eventually released as a 6 DVD set by Bear Family Records in Germany, funnily enough I got them out and watched a few this week as there was no football on. Thank God they were preserved.

Steve Ward Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 (edited) Any links to good quality music videos will be greatly appreciated. Edited June 21, 2017 by Steve Ward
Windlesoul Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 (edited) Another great Nashville linked programme was Night Train (shot locally. Hoss Allen did The !!! Beat in Texas from memory because of the better TV studio / recording and production facilities than Nashville could offer at the time). Shame that only a few of the Night Train episodes are around, quality a bit grainy but some great stuff including a sublime version of One Step Ahead by Peggy Gaines. Was speaking to the museum editor of the Country Music Hall of Fame (who happens to be an R&B fan and was involved in the Night Train exhibition / Grammy winning CD) - he has spent years trying to locate the other episodes, but to no avail.
