Impact Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Evening guys, I have just acquired the above single but it's a grey copy as opposed to the pink one. Does anybody know whether this was part of the first 100 club release, or a second issue? Thanks in advance Stew
Tony Smith Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Should be pink, never seen a grey one, and the anniversary 45's dont have a second release, have you got a picture? 1
dthedrug Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 HI A scan would be good, over the years when trying to restore records, if you are not careful and you are useing bleech, pink labels such as PYE records will lose there colour, normaly they go to an off white, this may of happened to your record, maybe someone tried to remove a name written with a felt tip pen, KTF. 1

Tattoodave Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 The colour on mine is actually more pale lavender than pink, so not that far off of grey.
Chalky Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 a real one, or the one I had is a million miles off grey.... 1

Ady Croasdell Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 New to me. I can't see it being booted though and if they did, they would use the same colour
Guest randy Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Purple pigment is notorious for not being stable has somebody just left in sunlight
Mattbolton Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 George Soule still one of the best Anniversary sides. Tremendously good. 1

Steve S 60 Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Don't know if it's crossed anybody's mind, but the OP could be colour blind and has done a grayscale scan of the record.

It crossed my mind, people do have strange perceptions of colour, the Americans even spell it different 1
