Almost Forgotten 3 - Early 80's Allnighter Sounds PART 3

Here's Part 3 - Another deep dip into the back of the Playbox. More 'almost forgotten' and rarely heard records that were very decent floorfillers at Rotherham Clifton Hall, The Rotherham Windmill and Cleethorpes Winter Gardens in the early 80's. Along with a few real biggies, here are some of the lesser known sounds of the day. Some are probably due a revival. How many do you remember?

Anyhow, give it a good listen and, if you were there, get yourself transported back to the early 80's.

And if you weren't around at the time you should still find it an interesting retrospective.

The Windmill Club brings back some memories. On the way from the train station to the venue once, me and a couple of mates were chased in the streets by a couple of Bikers wielding a bit of 4 x 2 timber each. Apparently we were mistaken for some local gang who had pissed these guys off.  We were only 15 or 16 at the time and fortunately much fitter and faster runners than they were :thumbup:

Great stuff Sean. Best time for me musically by far. Most of them stand the test of time and plenty of the cheapies stand up to scrutiny against some of the higher priced stuff.
