Mickey Finn Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 The Four Tops, "I just can't get you out of my mind", "Feel free" and much else of their ABC output Marvin Gaye, "Joy" Chuck Jackson, "All over the world" (another of Mr Levine's classics) Leon Ware, too many to mention but will single out whole "Undercover" album as it is unfairly neglected and strong throughout Ruffin and Kendrick, "One more for the lonely hearts club" Mary Wells, "If you can't give her love give her up" Gladys Knight and the Pips, "Landlord" Kiki Dee, "Nothing can stop us now" 1

Think rest of my life was originally the A side, lovely tune and thank you is pure Motown. Even the intro is stolen from baby love, great record though. Cheers

Fourmintsover Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Love Mary Wells' "Ain't It The Truth", very nice tune.

Enricoacm1899 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Four Tops had some great tracks after leavin' Motown. First two that come to mind are "Feel free" and "Are you man enough", but surely there are others. Speakin 'bout David Ruffin I think that "I wanna be with you" on Warner Bros is one of his greatest efforts 1
David Meikle Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Lamont Dozier 'I ain't playing' and 'Shout about it' and everything else he did post Motown 1
