That Voices of East Harlem track I've heard a few times on my travels this summer, definitely popular just now, and as if by magic Soul Brother are bringing out reissues of their 2 later LPs on one cd, with the self-titled LP also getting a vinyl release: https://soulbrother.com/shop/voices-of-east-harlemcan-you-feel-it/ https://soulbrother.com/shop/voices-of-east-harlem-4/ 1

Twoshoes Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 My five from the marvellous Carlton Club last night, very busy once again all the Dj's doing a great job, Big Shed playing a brilliant set celebrating his 60th birthday, 1 Eddie Floyd Bring It on Home To Me (brought back memories of the old red Dansette and Mum banging on the bedroom door "turn that down" 2 Peggy Gaines When the Boy You Love 3 Herman Hitson Yes You Did 4 Ben E King Teeny Weeny Little Bit 5 Not so much for the record because I know some people prefer the other version but just for the fact Andy for once played Millie Jackson House For Sale rather than his usual Mark Williams, little bug bear of mine I like an alternative version as much as the next man but in this case I just don't get it, where's the passion in his version?
