Ray Copley Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) Hi As anyone on here got a scan of Richard " Popcorn " Wylie's signature or knows of any website were it would show it. Only I've dug out an original issue of Rosemary on Karen and it's got a signature on it so wanted to confirm if it's genuine or not before I sell it. ** Been confirmed now as a genuine signature - the record is only VG to VG+ condition but plays through without any skips etc. Would anyone know what sort of price this would fetch. Regards - Ray Edited February 23, 2017 by Ray Copley
Kjw Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 There are quite a few copies of the orange label press of Cool Off around with his signature on I must have had at least 3 in the past - unless it was the same one that kept coming back to me
Ray Copley Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 I'll search for it see if I can find a sold copy with it on - Cheers !

If the style is the same , then the records could have been signed years apart , my signature changes daily !
Ray Copley Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 Here's a scan of the signature I have !
Shinehead Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Looks genuine to me a few little differences but everybody's signature changes , and why would someone forge a signature of Wylie it hardly adds to the value, and for some people it detracts.
Ray Copley Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 Cheers Graham thanks for the info !
Hip Priest Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 I have one from the Manchester International show, it is exactly the same....100% OK
Ray Copley Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) Cheers for that much appreciated ! Would you have any idea as to it's value - the record is between VG & VG+ plays through without any skips etc. Edited February 23, 2017 by Ray Copley

Gilly Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 That's a correct signature, get Brian Pinches to scan his Larry Wright Sweet sweet kisses for you, its my old copy that Popcorn sent me. I have a load of his signatures here on various things like xmas cards promo items, personal letters too 1
Ray Copley Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) Cheers Gilly , was asking Rob Moss earlier and he said you would be the one to know ! Much appreciated. Regards - Ray Edited February 23, 2017 by Ray Copley
Guest trickbag Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Posted July 28, 2015 Richard Popcorn Wylie - Rosemary What Happened - Karen VG++ £100 soulsource ricky.
Ray Copley Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 Cheers Ricky - Mines not a VG++ it's VG, So reckon £80 might be a fair price, don't think the genuine Popcorn Wylie signature will put any value to it !
Mark Bicknell Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Looks good to me like Gilly I have signed Christmas cards from him and a signed picture on my wall right in front of me clearly his hand writing.

Tim Brown once listed a "rare, unsigned, copy" of Rosemary, I guess making the point that he'd autographed a lot of records
