Eddie Campbell – Contagious love – Artco 103 M- OFFERS
(Fabulous mid-tempo on this undeniably rare label out of the Cactus State.  Eddie, the other half of Ernie oozes vocal mastery over a pulsating arrangement laced with killer horns.  Ernie Johnson, the Traditions are impossible to find and even Dyke and Blazers shows rarely.  Beautiful copy with only “A” on top side label. Min Offer £1250)

Little Eddie Taylor – I had a good time – Peacock 1949 DJ M- £650
(Effortless Northern dancer embraces slick R&B, and the vocals are made even better by the fact he was a guitarist.  Hard to find in top end condition and only notable blemishes are light wear on the label and “DJ not for Sale” blanked out by marker pen, otherwise a spotless player).

Cold Four – Love and care – Drells 889 M- £200 HOLD
(Archie Bell’s band the Drells own label, and another compelling example of the depth of Texan Soul that's still out there to to be plucked from obscurity.  This may sit in the shadow of the rarer than rare “Sugar Bear” release on the same label, but this is brilliantly crafted crossover and one not to be missed, as it isn't as common as thought!) 

Fantastic Four – (I‘m gonna) Live up to what she thinks – Ric-Tic 119 WD Ex+ £120 HOLD
(Hall of fame Detroit outfit that just couldn’t stop knocking out stunning tunes, this Ric-Tic DEMO is surely one for the completest and DJ’s alike. Just a shade off M-)
