Guest Soulskate70 Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Paul Smith's I'll Run is with doubt one of my all-time favourite tunes that I never tire of listening to.... It's a 45 that I hope to own sometime in the future, however it has come to my attention that a "lookalike" bootleg was actually produced in American for their expat Carribbean community. I've seen a few so-called original copies come up for sale in the USA, but does anyone know how to spot a dodgy copy...? The label isn't that hard to realistically reproduce.... Is it just a case of checking matrix numbers etc....? I would be greatful for any information, as not to fall foul of some bootleg version and waste my money in the future.....
Baz Atkinson Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 In short mate the original has the crossed out 738 matrix the other look out for NSLAR 52710 in the matrix ! It got me again after many years till I checked!
