Millo Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 This has just arrived in the post. It has the silver top on one side and box on the other. Anyone seen this on other London releases? At the moment I don't know whether to keep it or send it back. I bought it expecting It to be a first issue of Secret Home but I am guessing that it is the later release with an old 20-75 label used. 1
Russoul1 Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 very strange, had this 45 many years ago with I'm sure the same design London 20-75 labels on both sides, does it look like a label as been stuck on 20-75 side? 1
Millo Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 Both labels look to have been stuck on at the manufacturers.
45cellar Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Every collector has different ideas about such mis pressed records. If it was my copy I certainly wouldn't send it back. I would love to own it. 2

45cellar Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 You can always get another Silver Top. Where are you ever going to find another like this one. 1
45cellar Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 As said others may differ but I am one of those collectors that would pay a lot more than £9 for such an item. Well done. I'm pleased for you. 1

dthedrug Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 HI ALL Really hard to value this rare 45, Mick smith had the Ben E King blank & Lou Johnson Unsatisfied on London Monument DEMO, & the Darrel Banks issue was found, however they are big money records, Charlie Rich has both labels, your record is very rare but at a guess is worth £40 tops to a UK collector, but it is a nice one to have.
