Why is that, I love them. Lets hear some examples any of you may have and lets have you views about them being played out. I'll post up a great 60's example from Detroit in a mo.............. Those were the days This thread's reminded mind of a tune that I think is called "It ain't like that"- a gospelly sounding number....lyrics aren't gospel though, but involve counting through the months of the year. It may be by Valerie & Nick ?? The only person I can sing it down the 'phone to without fear of ridicule (my useful failsafe method of finding out what tunes are called, or who they're by) is currently watching the Blades get thrashed by Chelsea & doesn't own a mobile phone, the selfish swiiiine Anybody else help me remember? Horn - 'Glory bound train' on Modo That Lovers of God 45 already mentioned is absolute killer - both sides. And the Kindly Shepherds is great too - appeared on a compilation by Checker in 1967, which is decidedly easier to get hold of than the 45.
