That's pretty cool old fella. :wicked:

Just joking mate. One of those nice dance tracks that you can do the "cocky, posing, lazy" style of dancing to.

Hope all is well Martyn.

This is great to play in the car on the way home, however shite a day you've had this is guaranteed to cheer you up.  Carole King, Phil Spector, and Darlene Love....what a brilliant combination!

The above song by the Blossoms produced by Spector plus Bob Bateman and Ron Moseley and Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich who produced this beauty from the best ever girl group The Shangri-Las, puts an end really to any ideas that Motown and Soul were a black idea! Who ever came up with the idea that Northern came from 'Sugar-Pie honey bunch?'

Another from Timmion . This one from 2007 has been re issued , (presumably originally a ltd edition) ,  due to demand . Got the original but never got round to playing  at the Dekkas Roots Room sessions - tho in hindsight guess it would have gone down well .

Not many "new" instrumentals about these days, don't know if this has had any plays either

but it belts along in a big booming type of way, bought from Richard Domar about 30 years ago

for t' other side:

That's very nice of you to say.

There aren't very many Northern Soul birders (of the feathered variety) about.

You'd be surprised, there's a couple that are serious birders, Steve and Martyn, I'm more into plants and butterflies, but there are others too.

Best version imo , only came out on a 10'' single sided demo and reputedly only 10 in existence . Mark Randle has one , ones in Australia , not sure where the other 7 are as apart from Mark and I seems silent on playlists etc

The only way is up, collect ability wise, I reckon.

Written by Biddu, one of his better ones.

Moon Williams I can't live without you Dick James Music (DJM) - not the best voice in the world though.

I have another version in the collection somewhere, might recall what it is someday:
