I couldn't remember it being pressed on this design Tuff label so thought I'd give it a bash, must say I'm a but suspicious about the bidder 'detroitphil' who has no feedback and has never bid on another record apart from to drive the price of this one up - what do you lot think?

Hi Pete

It was pressed on this label design, I saw one for sale locally about 3 months ago, first time I had seen one!

On the original the TITLE text is LARGER than the Artist text and printed in upper case. The ARTIST text is smaller that the title trext and printed in LOWER CASE.

If I knew how to attached the original scan I would..but I am a computer thicko.

Keith,

I got an original in stock at the mo' so's I'll try and get a scan up. But for starters it's a LIGHT POWDER BLUE label on GRAINED PAPER. If you had the original in your hand and all the bootlegs it sticks out like a sore-thumb.

But how often do you see the original? The dark-blue label ones are company second presses...there gotta be 7 or 8 different presses of this baby...

John, thanks again for your help. It's a bootleg then. I'm f*cked if I'm paying 40 quid for that!

Pete,

There's TOO many shites on e-bay who actually know they are bootlegs and play dumb, do fuzzy scans and quote things like "I've been told this is worth a bomb" We are actually going to stop listing "Lookalike" bootlegs as we know 1/2 the buggers are buying them from us.

Fair enough if they are describing them as reissue or pressing or second issue - at least thats not trying to pass them off as originals: but yes, loads of people leave it ambiguous and people get caught out. No way am I paying for this record, and if he tries to force me by saying he'll leave negative, I'll report him for selling a counterfeit item.

I sold a load of boots on eBay last week, but was very careful to make it perfectly clear that they were boots...I was shocked at some of the prices they went for

Pete, why don't you just withdraw/cancel your bid, will save you all the hassle of a possible neg and grief from the buyer.

Adam.

Right, scrap the last reply..it's already finished!
